Thank you, Taco Bell, for lending us some your employees for the day on January 6 to build playhouses for local military and veteran families! The playhouse build took place at the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter Hotel during a company conference, and 75 employees from Taco Bell participated. A generous donation of $17,500 will support Habitat’s mission throughout San Diego County.
The San Diego Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Program is designed to offer a dynamic, fun and meaningful construction/team building experience for corporate partners. Habitat hosts a halfday event where volunteers build and decorate usable and durable playhouses that are then given to children through partnerships with several local charities serving families in need.
