Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative

Building a new home in a community is a great start, but we can do more.

Habitat is expanding efforts to improve entire San Diego communities with its Neighborhood Revitalization Initiative. Through this program, Habitat works with community leaders, corporate partners, and elected officials to give a face lift to entire neighborhoods by providing homeowners with much-needed home repair, weatherization, and energy efficiency.

Past revitalization efforts have included one-day events in Escondido and Imperial Beach, which brought about lasting change. These efforts will be expanded in the coming months, so that we can spur holistic and significant community revitalization.
